Chubby Giant Sustainable Suet Ball

Chubby Giant Fat Balls will be a popular addition to your garden feeder and suet is loved by most garden birds.

These suet balls are packed with insect-based suet and seeds which will have birds flocking to your garden.

Chubby Giant Suet balls are made up of high-protein suet made from insect oil , which is packed with lauric acid which is beneficial to health, including immune system health and inflammation reduction in birds.

Our suet balls are also essential throughout winter when birds need extra energy which is lost whilst trying to stay warm. During spring, mothers will also use them to feed their young for a protein boost.

Our fat balls can be hung anywhere in your garden on a feeding station or branch or broken up and placed on a bird table with your favourite seed mix and mealworms for all birds to enjoy.

We recommend these are stored below 14C in an airtight container to help keep them fresh and delicious!

Why use insect-based suet?

We are committed to using sustainable ingredients where possible in our bird food. By using insect as a replacement to beef tallow in our giant suet balls, we are reducing land and water needed in comparison to beef. There are also health benefits too;

  • The insects contain 2 times more protein than beef and chicken. This is essential to help birds through colder months.
  • More calcium than beef, which means healthier feathers for birds.
  • Insects contain more vitamin B12 than salmon.
  • Less Waste - 100% of an insect can be eaten, whereas only 60% of a cow can be eaten.
  • Composition

    Cereals, Insect Oil, Seeds, Calcium.

    What birds will fat balls attract?

    Perfect for Blackbirds, Starlings, Robins, Dunnocks, Blue tits, Great tits, Coal tits, Wrens, Chaffinches, and House sparrows.

    Please note these fat balls do not include nets. Also, it is common for up to 15% of the fat balls to be broken at the bottom of the box. This is due to the fragile nature of the product and due to transport. These are still fine to feed to your birds though! We cannot accept returns/refunds for this reason.
