Chubby Squirrel Picnic Table & Bench

We've found the only way to keep squirrels away from your bird feeders is to feed them. Designed with squirrels in mind, the table doesn't have any sharp screws on show, it has a large tabletop for plenty of food but we have ensured this is slightly sunken, to avoid any waste.

The Chubby Squirrel bench can be screwed to any tree or fence and it will have the birds flocking and the squirrels scurrying for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It comes fully built, so no installation is needed and we provide a screw if you do want to attach it to a tree or fence. Simply add your favourite squirrel mix to the table, sit back, relax and watch your backyard squirrels enjoying their next feast.

The bench is large enough to fit two squirrels and there is also an orange-coloured umbrella for added entertainment which can also be used to shelter the food.

Features:

  • Deep feeding tray to avoid spillages.
  • Bright umbrella for added fun!
  • Pre-treated cedar wood.
  • No assembly is required.
  • Designed for ground feeding or hanging from a tree or fence.
  • Fixings included for mounting.

1Kg Chubby Monkey Nuts Squirrel Food

Chubby Monkey Nuts are an excellent option for birds that like to work for their food. These shelled peanuts are high in oil, and offer a great energy value as well as being a valuable food source for wild birds.

Monkey nuts are a great way to encourage wild birds to naturally forage for their food. The species of wild birds in particular that enjoy the challenge of breaking the shell of monkey nuts are Jackdaws, Magpies and Crows. Blue tits have also been known to chip away at the shell of a monkey nut!

Monkey nuts - or peanuts in their shells, are the best squirrel food if you want to enjoy these creatures playing and feeding in the garden.

Nuts are very palatable for most parrots. Some parrots, such as the Macaws, thrive on high-fat nuts and seeds, and will take great pleasure from extricating monkey nuts from their soft shells. Other species can pile on the fat, though, and may even develop liver problems if there are too many nuts in their diet.
